APPLICATION OF MINIMALLY INVASIVE ENDOVIDEOSURGICAL AND NAVIGATION-PUNCTURE METHODS IN SURGERY OF HEPATIC ECHINOCOCCOSIS AND ITS COMPLICATED FORMS
Main Article Content
Abstract
Hepatic echinococcosis remains a significant health problem in endemic regions, requiring effective surgical management strategies. This article examines the application of minimally invasive endovideosurgical and navigation-puncture methods in treating hepatic echinococcosis and its complicated forms. The study analyzes modern approaches including laparoscopic techniques, percutaneous drainage under ultrasound and CT guidance, and combined methods for managing both uncomplicated and complicated cases. Special attention is given to technical aspects, patient selection criteria, complication prevention, and comparative outcomes with traditional open surgery. The results demonstrate that minimally invasive approaches offer significant advantages in terms of reduced postoperative pain, shorter hospital stay, faster recovery, and lower morbidity rates while maintaining comparable efficacy in parasite elimination. However, careful patient selection and advanced technical expertise are essential for optimal outcomes
